Today was the opening day for the latest 1/10th IFMAR Worlds. Last held two years ago in Chico, California the event takes place this year at the Yatabe Arena near Tokyo, Japan. New for 2016 the event takes place on a completely artificial surface made up of astro and carpet rather then clay. This is the track surface now used in a lot of European clubs, will this be an advantage and can the silverware come back to Europe? will have to wait and see. Team Ireland has two drivers competing Derek McCloskey and Michael Bolger with support at the event from Dave Bolger, we wish them the best of luck for the event.
For news updates IFMAR have a number of news groups over at the event like RedRC, NeoBuggy and for live action LIVERC to help you keep up with the action.

August 3rd to 8th sees Team Ireland head of across the Irish Sea to Robin Hood raceway for the 2015 1/10th Buggy European Championship. This is one

of the largest teams heading to a 1/10th event in a some years with expectations high of a good results. Best of Luck to all racing, keep a look out on RcRacing Tv for a link to live action from this event.
