National Off-Road IC Rd 4Results for National Round 4 Off-Road Championship Congratulation to all those who took part at last weeks final round of this Irish National Championship. The race was held under extremely favorable condition with the weather playing its part with blue skies all day.Unusually the temperature was higher the normal causing a rethink by many of there tire choice for this event. After some excellent racing the final results are as follows.

![]() The latest Round of the Irish National Off-Road Series was held in Banbridge. The event saw another good turn out of +30 drivers taking part in both the Buggy and Truggy event. I the Buggy section it was always going to be a close run affair, during the heats 12 cars completed the same number of laps which would see a a close battle come the A final. In the Buggy C final the win went to C.Whelan with K.Devane coming in second. In the B Final after some good battling A.Rennick who started in fourth ran out winner with D.Stewart who made the biggest improvement after starting in 8th place to finish up in second. The A Final was dominated from start to finish by the eventual winner M.Todd after the Pole driver for the final suffer problem on the first lap losing him valueable time along with the any chance of the race win. Behind 2nd and 3rd place the battle was on with two drivers swapping positions for much of the race but it was B.Abernethy who was to win out in the end to claim 2nd with G.Baird finishing in 3rd on the Podium. In the Truggy again it was going to be a close race with half the field qualifiying only a few seconds apart. In the Final it was the top 3 qualifying drivers who made the early moves with position swapping for much of the first stint. After the pitstop it was Bradley and Chris who had made ground on the rest of the pack and it stayed that way for the remainder of the race . B.Baird finish 1st with C.McCauley finishing close in second place, R.Skelly who started in fourth round of the poduim finishing in third place overall. National Off-Road Round 1 Results
National Off Road Round 1 Big congratulations to all those who took part in Round 1 of the Irish National Off-Road. Great weather and track made the day, with a brilliant turn out of 41 drivers who took part in the event. Big thanks to all those at Navan Enda, Frank, Barkley and co. for there work behind the scenes at preparing and organising the event. June 28 is the date for the next round of the Championship. This round is taking place in the Bandbridge and District car Club and we look forward to a equally exciting days racing.
